Public Affairs and policy professional with an international background. Studied Public Administration and Environmental Studies in Leiden and Leuven and specialized in European Law. Wrote his doctorate thesis on EU Council negotiations on reforms of the Common Agricultural Policy and worked fifteen years at the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, a.o. as Political Advisor to the Minister, Agricultural Counsellor in Berlin and dep. Director International Affairs. Intrigued by political agenda setting, sustainability themes and change management. Currently serving as Managing Director of the Dutch Dairy Association.
