The IFAMA Young Board started in 2020 with the ambition to bring together the world’s leading scholars and students, industry and NGO professionals and policymakers to improve the strategic focus, transparency, sustainability and responsiveness of the food and agribusiness system. A team of Students and Early Career Professionals from Australia, United States of America, South Africa, Canada, Costa Rica, India, Germany, Brazil, New Zealand, China, with support from the Netherlands, are poised to represent and engage with the next generation of thought leaders in food and agribusiness management, to ensure that the world’s growing population is both fed and clothed sustainably.

Students and Early Career Professionals from all over the world were challenged to write an essay. IFAMA received entries from 17 countries. Thank you to everyone who submitted essays.

Ronald Guendel Gonzalez, Global Head of Food Security Strategy & Advocacy at Bayer will give a brief introduction explanation of the issue presented to the students. After Anathi Makamane, member of the IFAMA Young Board, will announce the Final winners of the Essay Competition. She will present to you the 3-minutes Pitch in the levels Undergradute, Graduates/Early Career Professionals, Teams and Individuals.
